What I really hope is that since the 1/8 track is closed for whatever reasons, please do not make "illegal" test run on the track or near that area. Be it Nitro or EP, let the whole thing cools for a while, maybe then we stand a slim chance to "resurrect".

if not we might lose the 1/10 track also. The stat board can come with any reasons to close the track other than noise pollution.......litter....mossies breeding.....etc.

One of the team segar members explained that there were guys still running their 1/8 nitros past evening,6-7pm+,and weekdays during odd hours of the day, generating excessive noise which disturbed the residents to the point of making complaints to the authorities...

Now look what has happened. Very inconsiderate of these people...

At segar tracks, there is a cutoff time imposed which is around noon to 5.30pm after which drivers will have to stop running their cars for the day...odd hours could mean during the wee hours of the morning or late in the evening.

I think you guys may have misunderstood SuperEk4.

He is a real 'old bird' and a nice guy (very muscular too ... haha). If any of you have met him before you'll realise that he's not trying to be funny or a smartass or anything like that.

He's lamenting the loss of the 1/8 off road track.

I don't think he's trying to stir up anything ... I believe that he's trying to say that the closure of the 1/8 track at Segar is a bad / sad / unfortunate thing to have happened.

Anyway, peace all, we're all in this hobby to have fun.

Cheers.

Been to Segar to run my EP buggies but it's too far for me. Wish there's a track in or near Tampines area. That would b great! Singapore really lacks facilities for RC.

With the exception of drift, I think it's hard to find decent places to run other classes.
