Saw a few guys getting the HPI Savage SS this week. I myself getting mine most prob tomolo. How is the building going and any problems encountered. Shall we go for a test run after all building completed???

I didn't get mine from Tai Sing. They really have great parts support tho.
Will be doing the diff mod but have to check if the one I got is the updated one. Also will be not using the stock grease for the diff. Using 10000WT oil for the rear and either 30000WT or 50000WT for the front. Also might do the throttle linkage mod too.
Hey civiclized esi were you at Winnie's shop on Wed? Where did you get your Savage?
A important note for Savage owner : remember to double check the needle settings for the engine cos today while running in the nitro star 25 my engine over heated cos hpi screwed up the needle settings I almost fried a brand new engine

Yup I'm the one. Mine should be coming either on Sunday or Monday. Hey did yours come with the diff mod??? How is the breaking in going too???

lets bring monster trucking to a higher level in singapore, so support the race.
currently theres only about 10 - 15 racers turning up for the race.
there was about 5-6 savages in the first race then down to only a two in the last race.
Julia with her pink savage and hendra.
i personally believe theres more than 50 savages in singapore, where are u guys???
another joke is the "open" cat for the monster truck race, so people running truggies like the dominator, S U T and the llikes have an upper hand advantage for they are lower, but its still down to the skills and competant driving that will square of.
so guys do practice hard before the race and from another monter truck lover to the rest ,... lets keep monster truck racing alive!!!

If I'm not mistaken, the updated differential should be indicated on the box. Anyway, I'll still be getting the extra spider gears just in case I blow my differentials.
How was the engine??? Easy to start with the pull starter??? Did it idle nicely when running in???
The engine is loud because of the ribbed pipe. The pipe supposed to give more power.
