Bought the same set at winnie and the package does'nt come wif a ball link also. For stripped screw what u have to do is to cut a stright groove deep enough for a flat head screw driver. Must be deep enough so that u can unscrew the screw it as if it is a normal flat head screw. Hope it helps.

Hi guys, got this SS kit only 2 mths ago and finished it by end Nov but just only ran in 2 tanks so far...wanna join fellow Savage owners bashing in Sembwang...lemme know when you guys have Savage grp run? Thanks!
Originally posted by firegarden777 I was thinking of that too. But can a normal luggage bag hold the Savage and accs. Or would it be too big, then we all look like going to Changi Airport
i tried using a VERTIKAL duffel bag.. i think it is the 40litres capacity type .. barely can fit in the truck.. but still can
Yeah I did read those, very insightful for a new owner cause most of my parts still very stock as running in still not over yet so dare not lean out engine yet...think you understand...must get infra red temp gauge though...

Hey Buggyboy welcome to our little corner. Like Guyver said it IS a must to get a temp probe IMHO. However having said that, you still can lean out your engine but not to full performance. You can give it "water treatment" heheh.
By using a drop of water on the cooling head, you can ensure that the temps are ok. After running the truck for a while, put a drop of water on the cooling head and check. If the water just stays there and slowly evaporates then your engine is cool. If it SLOWLY bubbles then evaporates then that's about just right. But if it BOILS OFF immediately, the temp is TOO HIGH. Remember to check often.
You can start to lean out the engine a bit by using this method but as I said in an earlier post, anything more would be dealing with death.
Anyway, I got out my stripped screw yesterday *phew*
Used a vice grip. What is the ideal amount of locktite to use on a screw?
