Bought the same set at winnie and the package does'nt come wif a ball link also. For stripped screw what u have to do is to cut a stright groove deep enough for a flat head screw driver. Must be deep enough so that u can unscrew the screw it as if it is a normal flat head screw. Hope it helps.

Hey Buggyboy welcome to our little corner. Like Guyver said it IS a must to get a temp probe IMHO. However having said that, you still can lean out your engine but not to full performance. You can give it "water treatment" heheh.

By using a drop of water on the cooling head, you can ensure that the temps are ok. After running the truck for a while, put a drop of water on the cooling head and check. If the water just stays there and slowly evaporates then your engine is cool. If it SLOWLY bubbles then evaporates then that's about just right. But if it BOILS OFF immediately, the temp is TOO HIGH. Remember to check often.

You can start to lean out the engine a bit by using this method but as I said in an earlier post, anything more would be dealing with death.

Anyway, I got out my stripped screw yesterday *phew*
Used a vice grip. What is the ideal amount of locktite to use on a screw?
