2011 Hobbywing 1:10 EP Touring Open - Shanghai

2011 Hobbywing 1:10 EP Touring Open - Shanghai is open for registration. For those who are interested pls PM me.
Below are the race format.
HOBBYWING EP TOURING CAR OPEN 2011 SHANGHAI, CHINA
DATE AND SCHEDULE
2011-09-17 Saturday: Registration, Free practice runs in the morning
Qualify #1 and #2 in the afternoon
2011-09-18 Sunday: Qualify #3 and Final
TRACK
Shanghai International RC Arena
No.318 Xin Tong Xin Road, Hong Kou District, Shanghai
CLASSES
1. Open Modify Class (all RC drivers)
2. Stock Class 11.5T(unsponsored RC drivers)
3. Sport Class 13.5T (rookies and non podium drivers)
4. Formula Class
Qualifying
-Duration 8 minutes in all classes.
-The best laps and times of the three qualifies will be used to determine the driver’s rank of qualify.
Finals
-Duration 8 minutes in all touring car finals, 15 minutes in Formula class.
- Finals in A Main will be of ten drivers. The rest of lower Main will consider according to the suitable amount of the drivers (may be 12 or 14 drivers).
-A Main final of Open Modify class, Stock class and Sport class will be composed of three separate races of the top ten qualified after completion of qualifying. And Formula class will have only one race.
-At the organizer’s discretion, the lower finals B Main run one or two times and C, D will run one time only.
- The A Main final positions will be decided by a point system based on ten (10) points for the winner of each final on down to one (1) point for the tenth place finisher in each separate final. The best two (2) out of three (3) finishes will count. In the event of a tied position, the driver with the single highest finishing position in either of the best two (2) finals that counted will be awarded the tie, in the event of a continuing tie, and then the best laps and times from the three finals will be compared. The driver with the fastest laps and time total will be awarded the tie.
Technical Rules
MOST of IFMAR ISTC 1/10 EP Touring Car regulations will be used for this event. The different regulations are as following;
1. Open Modify Class
a) Only two motors can be used during qualifies and finals.
b) Control tyre is TEAMPOWERS 36R China Special pre-glued rubber tyre.
2 sets for all drivers except A MAIN drivers with additional 1 set.
c) Total weight of the car must be 1350 grams or above.
2. Stock Class
a) Control Motor will be used during the race. The Hobbywing 11.5T sensored brushless motor should be used and must be checked and marked when the drivers come to register. No modification allowed on the motor.
b) Control tyre is TEAMPOWERS 36R China Special pre-glued rubber tyre.
2 sets for all drivers except A MAIN drivers with additional 1 set.
c) Total weight of the car must be 1350 grams or above.
3. Sport Class
a) Control ESC and Motor will be used during the race. The Hobbywing JUSTOCK ESC with NO TIMING program and Hobbywing 13.5T sensored brushless motor should be used and must be checked and marked when the drivers come to register. No modification allowed on the ESC and motor except the wires and plugs to the battery on the ESC.
b) Control tyre is TEAMPOWERS 36R China Special pre-glued rubber tyre. 1 set for all drivers except A MAIN drivers with additional 1 set.
c) Four-door and two-door touring car bodyshells both can be used.
d) Total weight of the car must be 1350 grams or above.
4. Formula Class
a) Only 2WD (rear wheel drive) 1/10 formula chassis allowed.
b) Only ROAR APPROVED 17.5T or above brushless motors allowed.
c) Foam tyres must be used，the maximum width is 30mm(front) and 45mm(rear) .
d) Formula 1 style bodyshells must be used.
e) Total weight of the car must be 1000 grams or above
Entry Fee
150RMB for each class.
Drivers with no AMB personal transponder need to pay additional 40 RMB for renting the transponder. If the renting transponder is lost or broken by the driver, 1500RMB will be charged for the compensation.
Control tyres and motors can be purchased from the organizer by special price.
