1/8 off-road are normally open races, even if organised by toykar.

oh, FUTABA race next month, 2 day event (taken off TCSS website):
Futaba Cup June 29th and 30th
Finally, the date for Futaba Cup is comfirmed on the 29th and 30th of June 2002.
The delay in announcing the date was mainly due to getting all necessary procedure approve by the event organiser and co-hosts, MBJB of JB and Micasa Hotel of JB.
MBJB has agreed to the use of the land in the City Hall's Clock Tower and provide necessary facilities for the event. Micasa Hotel also will provide very attractive 2-day package to all participant for the Futaba Cup.
The Futaba Cup is an annual event and attracted lots of buggy players around the region. Don't miss it! Delay your wedding or appentice ops if you can.
It will be a 2-day event, min 4 heats and lots of prices to be won.

TT's cheaper but Mugen XR works comes with full rebuildable universal through, super thick chassis, stainless steel turnbuckel, aluminium centre torsen support, 4 mm shock tower, aluminium arm support for front and rear.............
and backed by rcaction magazine as an exceptionally durable car. You do not need to upgrade any parts anymore....
Think about the saving.

regret to announce the demise of the SAFRA Toa Payoh buggy track.
the track has been demolished and in its place is levelled, freshly planted grass.
i guess SAFRA has deemed it fit to have a beautiful plot of green grass in front of its building instead of noisy RC hobbyists :P
good job ..
sigh ... time to hunt for a new off-road venue.
