KK Racing is right, it's better to get a current model, older model is okay but must at least still be able to get any replacement parts without any modification required.

Don't make your life difficult...

Because you'll be running it, not for displaying on a shelf, and likely you'll break something, or wear and tear.

Thanks for all the good advises. I think I will get myself a radio set and follow-by freeing-up the engine first. Thereafter, will acquire the spare parts to run the buggy. Really hope the engine is still fit to power this buggy.
