currently running futaba330R, some running the 230R...u'll need a reversing esc for the races as no marshall is allowed on the track, afraid might step on it...

since i'm not into micro racing...think i might try the great planes C30 esc

Take Note: Today(23/04/2002) run CANCEL

WHahaha! So you mean no turn marshalls are allowed in the race? Ohh man... doesn't sounds official to me man.. Ohh.. I am using the GWS Navigator F112 and R56.. It's HUGE!!! whahaha... but who cares, as long as it can fit. Is the Futaba 330R good? Any complains so far? Hey, talking about the Hong Kah CC... WHEN'S THE NEXT RACE???

I am currently using GWS Navigator F240R112.

Adv
Best Punch available

Con
Big in size

Thinking of using Futaba MC230 or 330.
Tested both, seems like no diff between this 2 models. Could anyone comment on this point. Another range of GWS ESC which Fishcake using, same: very good punch but big in size.

Tested also LRP runner: No no. Superb punch delay!

HZM: There is a difference in the 330 and 230...recomend u to get the 330(pay slightly more), it delivers more amp to the motor, u'll notice the difference...and if u get tired wif micro, u can use it in a touring car, pple hav use tis esc(330) for touring car races(make sure u set the reverse to off first)...btw i tink its difficult to find it nowadays...

fishcake: each organiser are entitle to set the rules...

Ohhh... Okay, so ya mean that they set it to no turn marshalls allowed eh? Then what happens to those people who have ESCs that only have reverse in them? Don't they lose out? Whahaha...

I used GWS b4, agree that it's big, what I did I take off the casing do some rewiring n shrink wrap the esc, but still a little bigger then the futaba .... Winnie have both the 230 n 330 in stock ....

Agree with ozone 330 is better, would recommend 330 over 230 which have 20 turn moto limit.

For batt, I charge my 6 cell at .5 - 1 amps using indi 16x3 charger.

Woah! The race really disadvantage to those races who use non reversible ESCs.. whahaha, hey, but I think the 330 has a turn limit right? If I were to change my GWS to that, will it be able to run with the Orion elite, which is 12T?

Guys, anyone own 2 cars exactly same spec but one with MC230 and the other one with MC330? Bcos, the other day I tried for abt half an hour with 2 cars, 1 using 230 n the other 330. Really don see any diff as the rest had mentioned. Yes, 330 can be use for 1/10 cars, even 230 can be use on 1/10 car but with motor turn limited to 20T if I am not wrong.

fIShCaKe, yes u can use 330 with the elite as myself

If not mistaken the 330 have a 13 turn limit. As for Orian elite, it's not sure how many turn ..... Read somewhere that orian themself cannot confirm how many turn

speed 300 run for over 20 min ??? That's goooooodddddd.........

quickshot is rite, u can use the 330 to run the elite, most of the guys i run wif r using the 330 together wif the elite and they hav no prob wif it, runtime is oso gd...btw i dun tink the elite is a 12t motor

the 330 has a motor limit of 13t...

fuse01 too bad u broke the tab, was eager to run against it

hmm...20min runtime? mayb when i tested the AA cells b4 it was bcos the motor was hot from prolong running and it slowed down (feel as thou the batt is flat, mayb its not ), furthermore i tested it on a very very slippery surface(multi-storey carpark much slippery than hong kah), mayb tats the reason...
