good morning Funkymojo, thanks for the infos on the Avante, this is the sure buy car, even there is some lack on the performances,

back in old days, this is the car i can't afford, i only can see 'rich' driver driving this car, and my saliva is dripping at the same time,

that's true. If I can get my other cars ready in time I'll try to get my Scorcher ready to run... only need to fit some other kind of cover on it...

What about yours?

I haven't signed up yet so I'm not supposed to post

But I'm working on a hopped up SRB (all old parts, nothing from re-re).

All plastic suspension arms and lot of other stuff. RCH, Proline, You-G, MRP, you name it. Hope to finish next weekend and make a test run. If all goes well I may sign up.

Here's a car I'm interested to run in the NOOB CLASSICS event...

Anyone have any tips on setting up this one?

More pics and impressions for those who are interested here.

So you going to solder some batts especially for that?

While you are in this old funky mode, why dont you also check out the following cars:
Ayk Viper, boxer
Pb mini mustang
Hirobo zerda, jealousy, alien mid
Etc

lol... no soldering of batts... thinking of working out someway of attaching saddle lipos on it.

AYK Viper, Boxer , Zerda, Jealousy and Alien very cool... (esp Alien)
PB Mustang look don't really appeal to me.

Your Tomahawk ready yet?
