Been trying out CS1.5 for a week or so on my DRB and after some discussion with Didee & Hakimo, I find this to be a pretty good setup with considerable CS angle. The car is a bit tail happy, but increasing rear toe helps stabilizing it. Feel free to ask me for more details.

Tire: Autodrift Pro-grip
Motor & ESC: ORCA RX2 10.5, Hobbywing 120A V2.1

Toe: 2 deg out
Ackerman: Parallel
Caster hubs: Yokomo 10deg
Ride height: 5mm
Springs: Mikuni Yellow
Bumper weight: None
Trailing Steering Block: Yokomo option
Sway-Bar: none
Shock Oil: Yokomo #300
Downstop: 5mm
Droop: 5mm
Other:
- Shock position @ Tower : 3rd from bulkhead
- Shock position @ Arm : Inner of 2pos
- 1mm spacer under FF and FR suspension mounts
- No spacer under camber link ball connectors at bulkhead or C-hub.

Rear

Camber: 0 deg
Toe: 2.0deg - 0.5hub = 1.5deg
Ride height: 5mm

Sway-Bar: None
Shock Oil: Yokomo #150

Its it the high caster angle at zero degree camber make the considerable CS angle at 1.5 ratio?

If using lower caster angle , will the CS angle still considerable?

Thanks.

IMO there will be less CS angle with lower caster.
It is harder to maintain CS angle with a lower caster angle as there will be more contact area between the tire and ground as compared to a higher caster angle. Therefore with increased grip, the front will pull easily to the direction your front tires are pointing at. But of course the camber factor has to be considered.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, we need to learn from each other to improve...

Hi,

The best is to use 24.5mm or below.

ProAmp 6000 is nice fit.

Thank you.
