NOOB 1/10 EP Offroad Buggy Series - ANNOUNCEMENTS thread
#48
Awesome race today! A BIG "Thank You" to all the racers who really helped the race run efficient and tight. One first time racer told me he really liked how things ran back to back so it really felt like the action never stopped!
Feedback is really important for the organizers so do post your feedback here on this thread or feel free to PM myself (BloodClod) or Funkymojo.
Once again, we want to thank everyone who made this race a success - special thanks to the race marshals, all the understanding spouses and families and the staff of RCI and everyone who participated.
Personal thanks to BK for helping out with the Lap Counting System (you're a PRO!!!) and to Kum Yew for helping out in so many ways (and for helping to charge my batts...)

NOOB Series Update - 25 July 2010
Click here to download your race details for 4WD Round 1 Race held 25 July 2010 : RACE RESULTS
Why tell me the results?
Let's face it... RC cars of any sort are primarily about having fun *driving* our cars... and I hope a part of all of us hopes (even if it's just a little bit) to improve our driving.
While the NOOB Series is not primarily about competition and winning at all costs, it doesn't mean it can't promote an environment for all of us involved to work at our driving.
So download the results, they are organized by racer name so you can focus on your own timings and you can have something to improve upon at the next race!
You can also think about how each run went and see how the timing changed as a result, e.g.:
- did you do better jumping the triples all at once or by taking it 2-1?
- did you go faster when you were pushing the car hard or taking it more carefully?
- did you go faster on tire A or B?
- etc. etc...
As the series progresses, see if your own timings improve while you're having fun.
Alternatively, if it doesn't matter to you either way, ignore this post and just enjoy the races.
