Travelling to Singapore!
Hi guys,
Sorry if this question has been asked before but I havent got much time as I am at a net cafe.
I will be heading into Singapore tomorrow night for a few days of shopping and eating after 3 weeks of business in India. I will be staying at a hotel near Tiong Bahru MRT Station and was wondering if you guys could help point me in the right direction of some good hobby shops in the area? I m after Tamiya mostly but am hoping to buy an entire car including ESC and servo.
Also, please let me know if there are any local race tracks in the area as I would be very keen to come and check out a night of racing.
Oh and one more... Does anyone know where to buy DJ equipment?
Thanks everyone!

Stargek's (Tamiya's local distributor) will not have a good enough price. U might want to let us know which Tamiya models u want.
As for the mixer, you can approach these places. Not sure abt the prices though.
Ecler DJ is available at Professional Light & Sound (Sim Lim Sq #03-66)and Valentine Music Centre (451 Race Course Road)
or you can find them,

Thanks for finding out about the mixer, am I far from Sim Lim Sq?

As the TRF is quite an expensive kit, I think it's possible only Stargek stocks it.
As for the DJ equipment, if u're experienced enough on the public transport, I would reckon taking a train from Tiong Bahru, transferring at Outram MRT to the North-East line and take the train down to Little India station and walk abt 10mins to Sim Lim Square.

I m here!!
OK, so I managed to stumble across Sim Lim Sq by chance today. Definitely going to check it out first thing tomorrow, and then on to Orchard Rd to find that hobby shop.
Oh man it's hot here.

For the Ecler, check with the Sim Lim shop. The owner is quite nice and friendly. I did my DJ equipment Flight case with him before. U might be able to even ask hiim to take a set of the Ecler for a try before u buy.
