Default NOVAK ESC NEED HELP!

hey guys , i've got a problem here with my ss5800 brushless combo ESC .
my ESC cant turn on , it don't have any ' chao ta ' smell in it , so i dont think so it's overheated & spoilt .

i've installed a fan ontop of it & i can be sure that it's isnt even hot ,
i've used my hands to feel th temperature of th ESC , it like room temperature hot only.

I've only ran it once for drifting after buying it off this forums .
after running it once , change to another battery , it dont work again

there will be blue & red LED lights flashing & flashing ,
after turning off & on , it works for like 10secs , then th problem comes again
and now it totally cannot even be on .

so i really need help here .
if someone is able to fix it for me , tell me please
i dont wanna send it to agent . takes too long.

P.S i run it for drifting

possible reasons:

1. motor bearing damaged: try rotating the motor shaft with your hand to make sure it turns smoothly. if it doesnt turn, confirm bearing damaged. the bearing can easily be replaced.

2. sensor cable loose/damaged: try unplug and plug the sensor cable from the ESC. Novak SS system cant work if the sensor is unplugged.

3. ESC is toast: it is very unlikely that the motor is damaged other than the bearings. my previous SS esc was damaged due to (i suspect) my motor bearing got stuck but i kept pressing full throttle and reverse. now after i've replaced the motor bearing, found out that the ESC doesnt work at all. only LEDs flashing green and red. but the motor is working fine.

th motor's working fine . i just cant figure out .
i opened up my Novak SS ESC & found a IC being totally black , which is out of th norm , my guess is its fried .
the sensor are all still plugged in .
but i can confirm there's no heat there .
anyone know whats th IC in there? the biggest IC in th ESC

from novak website.

• Red status LED blinking when throttle is applied. Check motor sensor harness
connection at ESC (make sure all metal sockets are fully inserted into the connector’s
plastic housing)––check for damaged wires.
• Red status LED on solid & Green LED blinking. Check input signal harness & motor
sensor harness connections at ESC. Check input signal harness wiring sequence &
connection at throttle channel of receiver. Check throttle channel operation with servo.
Motor sensor harness connected while in Brush-Mode––disconnect sensor harness.
• Blue & Green status LEDs both blinking. Possible ESC shut-down due to locked rotor
detection––return throttle to neutral position to regain motor control––check vehicle’s
drive train for free operation.
• Blue & Red status LEDs blinking. Possible ESC thermal shut-down––Check gear ratio
& free operation of drive train for possible overloading/ESC is being severely overloaded––
allow system to cool & return throttle to neutral position to regain motor
control. LEDs will continue to blink until system is cooled down.
• Blue & Amber status LEDs blinking. Possible motor thermal shut-down––Check gear
ratio & free operation of drive train for possible overloading/motor is being overloaded––
allow system to cool & return throttle to neutral position to regain motor
control. LEDs will continue to blink until system is cooled down.
• Blue & Green (Locked Rotor Detection), Blue & Red (ESC Thermal Shut-Down), or
Blue & Amber (Motor Thermal Shut-Down) status LEDs blinking. ESC may have shutdown
& ESC’s neutral point is too far off to sense that transmitter throttle has
been returned to neutral––Refer to Steps 4 & 5.
• Possible receiver damage––Check operation with a different receiver.
• Possible internal damage––Refer to Service Procedures.

if still under warrenty then send back to novark but got to wait long long, write to them about your problems first. This is the risk you have to take buying secondhand bro. good luck.
