Anyone using MRT PTX
Anyone using MRT ptx at Bottletree track? can it be detected by the track AMB system? Anyone have idea where I can get it locally and how much it cost?

I saw from the Team MRT website that Sam's supposed to be the local distributor but I don't know if he brings it in. I ordered mine abt a week ago direct from U.K.

If you want to clone your amb transponder, you'll have to send it to them to clone (if I'm not wrong). Then they'll scan the transponder for the number and clone it to the mrt transponder. Not sure how long it will take, but probably about a month (1 week to send your amb transponder over, 1 week to clone etc, 1 week to send items to singapore, 1 week to confirm payment).

I think only available in UK not US.
Unless if what adrictan says its true, if Sam (Hobbylink??) is the distributor, then what he probably does is collect and sent it to UK for cloning.

Unless my AMB no is 888888 then worth $ lol

That is if you choose their PTX and used their club PTX. Same like the AMB Transponder system that tracks your lap times.
That's the special thing about MRT PTX. It allows you to have the same number on all the cars you wanted to race. It doesn't matter, as long as the race co-ordinator register your number in the proper class, it will still pick up the laps.
