Default EX5 Problem.

Need help.

For some reasons, when i switched on my EX5 transmitter, there is continuous beeping sound and the display console shows 'EAA'.

Before that, i was using a set of batteries that have very low voltage. On switching on my EX5, it shows low batt. I turned it off and back on again without changing the batteries, i got the 'EAA' display and the beeping sound. Tried changing a new set of batteries, the same thing happens when I switch it on again.

Has anyone encounter this problem before? Is there any solutions?

Thanks.

I had the same problem before too. It actually shows ERR not EAA. It's an error massage. I sent it back to Japan to repair. Only problem is that it will only come back after a few months.

First of all I'll have to apologize to bigbubble for using his thread. I too have some problems with my EX5.

I bought a 2nd hand EX5 (the previous owner didn't have the manual) and I have problems understanding what each of the features do.

I'll greatly appreciate anyone who can give me a crash course on what each function does.

(As seen on the LCD screen)

A
H
H+
L+

Also how do I toggle between memory 1 and 2 and also enable the servo reverse function?

Many thanks to anyone who replies and once again an apology to bigbubble for using this thread.

think should be like this

to change memory on the ex5
1.turn off the tx
2.hold the trottle trigger and on the tx for 1st memory
or 2nd memory, u juz do the reverse on the trottle trigger

for reversing your servos
1.hold the steering wheel to right of left
2.push the steering knob (on top of the steering wheel) to value of 130 on the lcd screen
3.continue to push till the "+" or "-" sign is reversed together with beeping sounds

hope u understand what i am typing

Thanks for the prompt reply, that certainly cleared everything up.

Another thing I forgot to ask, how do I go about reversing the throttle too? I just noticed that the throttle was reversed when I turned on my radio.

EDIT: I figured it out already. Thanks once again for the help.
