That depends on what u plan on bashing or racing. If u r bashing, almost any regular servos also can use cos it does not require alot of torque. If u r planning on racing, then maybe u might want to consider better servos like Sanwa VR or Futaba 9551 or equivalent. Reason is that u want that better precision and speed in steering. My two cents worth.

I think its possible but u gonna be buying almost the chassis and quite a no of plastic parts. At the end of the day after spending all that $$$, U gonna end up with one car. Might as well spend that bit more and have two instead. My two cents worth.

Anyway i just return from hongkong, and the guys told me can covert and only cost me at a some amount... therefore i took their advise.. just wondering anyone of you guys face any problem anot....

bro here,

can i install brushless motor into the M05?

If can, any cheap and gd to go for... for bashing normal play... no intention to race...

theoretically speaking (if you can get good prices of the MO5 plastic parts), it might be cheaper to convert the MO3R... and you probably end-up with a good looking MO5 which is very competitive with the MO5 PRO

however, in the Philippines, the ordinary MO5 run around PhP3,695 (about SGD108) - http://www.rctech.net/forum/6553279-post12690.html - only (comes with a mini Rover body, silver can motor and an esc)... so the savings will probably be very small if i convert an MO3 to MO5

Just in case any bro want to spent less by converting...

Parts that needed to convert:
- Tamiya M05 A Part
- Tamiya M05 B Part
- Tamiya M05 c Part
- Tamiya M05 D Part
- Tamiya M05 F Part
- 3 Racing steering Linkage 95mm
- Tamiya M05 Adjustable Upper Arm Set

Price pls check with the Local hobbyshop if you want to convert.
