gd that u were in this hobby last time, at least the fundamentals of driving are there already. all u have to do now is to follow the manual closely, stick to te initial setup and try the car, feel the car and see how it reacts to different kinda bends, once u understand the car u should be able t osetup the car easily. there isnt very much to setup on the xray (imo) but its very sensitive to setups, so just try out the car 1st, and learn to understand it. thats always the 1st step to a new car. at least my 1st step =)

I should say it's a damn good car. I've got a T2R PRO first, 2 weeks later, cannot tahan, get myself another T2009. It's the best compared to all cars that i previously own. (Pls, I've got no connection with Sam)

T2R PRO
I found the factory setting are rather too aggressive, handling are superb, but kill your rubbers faster too. Surprisingly, it's also good for foam tyres with F&R pulley's mount adjust to US foam spec.
Space between servo arm and top deck are too narrow, no space for adjustment, need to hop-up servo mount to acheive sufficient gaps.
Hop-up turn buckles it's a must.
Next, the batt mount, hop-up required.

T2009
It's almost identical with T2R PRO, different are CF chassis, orange alum parts, F&R drive sharf, servo mount, turn buckles & factory chassis drill holes position....what else i've missed?
Still in process to push it to it's max tho.

The universal joints at drive sharfs are a bit easy to dislocate, once lock pin snap, the other time pin fly off, so must stock up the drive sharf coupling to avoid dissapointment.

Most importantly, parts supply no problem, but are a bit steep...
Satisfaction justified the premium I'd paid, go for it bros...

Sam doing goodjob on the Xray touring car.... keep it up. The whole idea is to help others who are new to this hobby and make it fun and the hobby will grow. If not by the time you know it we will be playing under the void deck.

Thanks.......

which one? top or bottom? please specify which piece.

1st thing to try is that if u remove all the screws connected to that piece of itm that u tighten, then try turning the piece instead of turning the screw, see if it works.

2nd option is that u cut a "minus" shape out of the screw and try to use a minus screw driver to remove the screw.

last option is to drill the screw. please be careful when u do that as it will rip ur threads.

never ever use screwdrivers with worn out tips, or if u ever notice that any of ur screws are rounded, replace them immediately, it not they will spoil ur screwdriver and u get more of these happening.

It can be remove easily with an extractor, but must drill a smaller hole on top of the screw first, then use the extractor in anti clockwise direction, swee swee liao
Not all hardware shop selling extractor, i know big scale hardware shop Homely (not sure if it's correct spelling) near to Paya Ubi have it, 20 plus a set. Hope this helps.

Neat work bro
Where do you get the belt tensioner? Will it too close to the upper deck when tension?
