At the end of the day, you'll see that any choice you make will have it's up and down sides. Think about it and strike a balance like which you like best, or which is faster, which will last longer, etc etc.
Different people have different taste and stuffs, so remember it's going to be YOUR car, so pick one and appreciates it's good points. Life will be easier.

Thanks guys! Good comments
GreenTea and bros, I keep hearing XXX-T and XXT-CR being mentioned, is this the same chassis the Speed-T uses?

Yes bro, they are all using the same platform. The CR is a competition ready off-road set up with changes like suspension geometry and quick release wheels adaptors. The Speed-T is designed to wheelie, go straight, and fast. It comes with shorter shocks and towers, no rear diff, on-road tires, and also a wheelie bar. So just imagine, you charge up your batts, load it in your Speed-T, hit the road with a wheelie, make a big U-Turn, pull wheelie and straight till the other end of the road, make another U-turn, and repeat the same procedures. I think that's what it is designed for. I dun think it can handle off road with 3S in it, not to disappoint you, it won't even stay straight IMO.

With a few volunteers and a couple trial runs, I believe a monthly friendly race is not difficult to pull off.
A good way to try for a smooth trial is to post the simple procedure up in Segar thread, let the guys have an idea of how it's going to be run. Come Saturday/Sunday, everyone will roughly know what to expect. Then maybe cock-up a few runs... but very soon everything will be S.O.P.

I vote the E-firestorm flux.
I got mine awhile back, and its pretty awesomely fast.
certainly outruns my 22,2v brushless emaxx and brushless castle creations 2200kv e-revo in terms of speed.
its quite difficult to control at high speed on 2S lipo.
on 3S lipo, its only possible to control in a straight line on a flat long road.
I placed a BEC so the ESC can run 3S lipo without overheating.

Not surprising, and that's normal.
Running 3S on a 2WD offroad is going to be a handful, even 2S is overkill sometimes, if the track is not big.
For bashing most people want a flying car, so any speed any setup will work. But if it was to be run on a track, a car is better dial-in to suit the track size and ground condition. During track days, it's not always the fastest car winning.

thanks alan for the push.... i suppose they are looking for RTRs that comes with brushless system... AE does not have this bundle... their factory team comes as a kit only, motor and all other electronics must buy separately...
i think its because of this reason it was excluded...
just for info... hobbythingz will give full support for parts for T4, B4, B44, SC10, to RCRC at bottletree (BK's track)... we ask for your understanding sometimes certain parts are not in stock. but rest assure that we have very regular orders coming in and can include it... should you need more info, can always approach bk, or email me....
thanks

Erm, apparently, AE does have the RTR option for T4/B4

read the post... it's rtr with brushless... AE's rtr are brushed motor... that's the reason they exclude it in this comparison....
