Default 1/8 Scale Buggy Race Track in SGP

Hi Guys,

I'm new in Singapore and I'm staying in Bedok area, do you know a place where I can race/play my 1/8 scale buggy???

I heard there is off-road race track somewhere in Tampines area, can i play my buggy there?

Please also give me the details or exact location of the race track so that I won't have hardtime finding the place.

I'm currently playing my buggy in HDB car park but one of the neighbors called the police and complained about the noise. Police
told me that I can not play the RC in car parks...Please help.

Thanks again......

You can try the Woodlands track. It's just next to the casablanca condo. turn in just before the Mobil station. Exit the BKE at the Woodlands Ave 2 exit.

PS: It would be appreciated that you dont post the same thing 4 times in 4 different threads. Can't say the same for the rest but it certainly annoyed me.

Hi,

Thanks for the information.
What time do they open on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday?
Is there a registration or membership fee? if yes, how much and where do I pay.

Thanks........

IS FOC....

Is open area whereby you can go everyday if you like.
But dun dirty the place. Clear your rubbish b4 you leave the place.

See ppl with Kanai II must SALUTE to show your respect.

The simple rule you must comply is "GIVE WAY TO MORE EXPENSIVE CAR" on the track.

Hi Guys,

Thank you very much for your help. I've been to a lot of R/C forums and I find the people there Mature, Helpful and very Friendly.

This is my first time in SGP Forum and I also find the people here
MATURE, very HELPFUL and very FRIENDLY. With an attitude like that, i'm 100% sure that 1/8 scale buggy hobby in SGP will go a long way.

Again, Thanks for all your help

My dear My Cheng.. can agree with your first statement, but NEVER your second one!!

The rule is - Give way to the guy who is kicking your ass and taking the corners better than you regardless of wat car they drive!!

At WL, $500 buggies with $100 engines run side by side with $800 buggies that have $400 engines.. no wallet-discrimination here!

As i remember clearly from last sunday, Eric (the one without the Cheng), was clearly whooping lots of ppl's asses with his plain only 7.5 (NON-Kanai version) and humble HOBAO hyper .21 8-port... Its the driver man...

Hi Capablanca

Guess the guys didn't give u a warm enough reception.
Well, come along to Woodlands track 2 meet them face 2 face
& u'll realise that's their style.

The Tampines BMX track is closer 2 ur home but it's more of a
bashing ground only. Woodlands's is a more proper buggy track
and there r more 'kakis' there 2. Do feel free 2 drop by anytime.

Hi everybody,

I am new to RC, and I will be getting an E-Maxx in a month or
two, do you guys mind if a monster truck joins your buggies at
woodlands?

Hi KK-racing,

Do they allow people to play R/C in Tampines BMX Track?
What time and day do they open? Is there a membership or registration fee? If yes, where do I pay?

Can you also give me the exact location of BMX Track and what are the rules and regulation you need to follow when you play R/C there? (just don't want to get in trouble with authorities).

I'm new to this hobby and this is my FIRST R/C. I don't know how
to drive it and I'm not sure if I can handle it well. I need to do a lot of practice and learning first before I hit the real track, plus I'm only having the Inferno MP-7.5 Sports RTR with stock engine and stock AM radio set.

Thanks,.........

Hi Just Gundam,

I was also thinking of buying an E-Maxx or T-Maxx before but I have read in a lot of articles and forums that they break a lot. You will need to buy almost all the hop-ups you can get to make it stronger (money pit).

If you can't find a place to run your E-Maxx, we can bash together in Tampines BMX Track )

Thanks,.........

Hi Capablanca,

I have also read about the durability issues from other forums,
but I guess it will do fine if I don't send it flying too much.

It will be great to bash together , I'm staying in woodlands
btw, just gotta lug that monster around a bit.

Hi Just Gundam

Refer 2 'TNT Discussion - MONSTER TRUCKING !!!' thread & u'll

U shd come over, there r many expert monster truckers there
who can advise u how 2 bullet-proof ur truck.

Only boat dun hv, cause no water around.
