ITEM 53412 (OP412) TA04ĄPRO Tires Type-B 3,200円

I also don't mind the motor. It's the tires which will kill.... well at least it's stated "Rules Subject To Change" so still got chance!

dont think they should limit the tires..
cause most of us would have already some other tires
and if it limited only to tamiya
that mean we have to spend more and get it
can we still use the sport tune
i still have 2 of them left

I agree that there should be some relaxation of the tire and rims rule. I hope you will seriously consider dropping this rule.

Guys, can the sports tune motor's performance match the new type t motor??

If really must use tamiya rims and tyres....i suggest these items to be sold at a discounted price to the racers. Else i foresee a drop in participants. Please reconsider.

The Type T may cost around 2 sport tuned but they will last much longer compared to a sport tuned. Performance wise, it will be definately faster than the sport tuned.

Ok.....
Firstly....
only Type-T Motor can be used.

And I think the rule on tires is fair......
As Tamiya also produce different componds of tires....
And it is not really very costly......eg. Type-B (complete with rims inserts is retail at $64. If you compare other brands, it add up to be around the same.

If you think it cannot handles......
Well for all the races at the last series , I only used 2 set of Tamiya tires.
2 pairs of M2-Slick for indoor and 2 pairs of Type-B for outdoors.
Quite lasting too....

This is to be fair for other beginners with less knowledge on tires so that they will not lose out too far and lost interest in racing ......
(remember, In a race with about 60 enteries , about half are begginners.)

I think tai sing is already very easy on the rules as the body shell, battery and some other parts are still open not like the real Asian cup rules which is a booklet thick(Don't believe ask the guys who went there last year)

And for this year series......there will be 6 races taking 5 best result and the top 3 may not be the ones going to Asian cup....but chosen by Tai Sing. (Not Comfirm)

And I would like to ask why no ones wants to use Tamiya tires???

Too Costly???

cannot handle???

Don't last???

or simply because

Top driver don't use Tamiya tires.....

Never try before.....(other says no good so you think it is no good)

don't know how to set car with different tires.....

Don't want to spend extra???......(then why in the first place buy
other tires??)

If you people can give me a valid reason for me to argue with the Race director till he is speechless .....then I will try ......

Ah Goh is right about the Motor......most costly then sport tuned but performance last longer....

From what i Know, the top drivers from the last series uses up to 3 motors per race.....= $75 per races!!!???????

So right now a motor is more expensive but 1 is enough to last a few race so even you can afford a new motor for each run....it doesn't make so much difference......
