HPI Drift Challenge 2009

The HPI Drift Challenge 2009 will be held on the Saturday - 4.00pm to 8.00pm, presented by Tai Sing Corporation Pte Ltd on the following dates:-

(1) 14 Feb 2009
(2) 14 Mar 2009
(3) 9 May 2009
(4) 11 Jul 2009
(5) 8 Aug 2009

Venue:
The PLAYGROUND @ BIG SPLASH
902 East Coast Parkway, Singapore 449874.
http://www.bigsplash.com.sg

Time: 4.00pm to 8.00pm
Shelter, Tables, Chairs and Power Points will be catered.

Playground @ Big Splash also have a varied range of exciting dining options to choose from, such Seafood International Market and Restaurant, Carl’s Jr. ®, KFC, Indian Times, 1 TwentySix, Sushi Tei, OldTown White Coffee, Mingles, Seafood Man, Starbucks Coffee and The Vista Bistro.

Damn i cant join any of e comp anymore due 2 my working schedule..but after march maybe i'll be quiting my job coz waiting 4 ns..so while waiting, i can join at least one i guess..so yea, wait n c..anyway gudluck 2 those joining..cheerz -- MadSlyder

HPI Drift Challenge 2009

We will take best 3 out of 5 race results, which the last result is compulsory.
At least top 2 winners will represent Team HPI Singapore to participate in the HPI All Asia Finals (country to be announced later).

Point system will only apply to HPI/Hotbodies cars.

Rules:-
1. Any 1/10 EP On Road Chassis with HPI Body shell.
2. Motors: HPI Drift Meister 15T or 17T.
3. Tires: HPI T-Drift Tires.
4. Batteries: Not more than 7.4v.

Format:-

1. Qualifying Round.
Drivers are judged in solo runs during the qualifying round.

2. Twin Battle.
Drivers are paired up based on their single run scores (1st vs Last, 2nd vs 2nd last and etc). As the Twin battle rounds progress, the winners will group as Group 1, and the others will be in Group 2).

3. Quarter-Finals.
After the group 1 & 2 drivers are selected from the Twin Battle, they will be paired up within their groups.
As the Twin battle rounds progress, the winners for Group 1 will declare as group A, and the others will be in group B).
And the winners for Group 2 will declare as group C, and the others will be in group D).

4. Semi & Finals.
As the elimination rounds progress in this final stage, one driver is eliminated from each run until a winner is declared in each group.

** Organiser decision will be final.
