I will definately trust the words of the authorised local distributor. Anyway I have just came back from bangkok and the HPI distributor have received their stock of the 5T, so I think TS should get their stock pretty soon.

there is a local disti here in singapore, why not buy it from them if the price is around the same? we are talking about support and service from them. parallel importing them just for 1 or 2 weeks earlier is stupid. if you want yours earlier, go jio your few friends and order yourself, why post here and create a scene for the disti and dealers? please show them a little respect.
i believe that you are also in the hobby business, ut operating from home. imagine ppl parallel importing your product and selling them at a break neck price? maybe it's not your core business that you need to live on it, but this is not the way to do business. remember that you got no overheads??
if there's not local disti here, by all means go parallel for all you want....
