TAMIYA ENDURO CHALLENGE 2008 aka 'National Day Rally'

Obstacles-filled racing circuit for you to race under 3hours ,using Tamiya XB Porsche Cayenne.Totally different experiences from touring and M chassis vehicles !

DATE : 09 August 2008 Saturday
RACING TIME : 4.00pm - 7.00pm ( 180minutes run)
REPORT TIME : 3.00pm (to collect kit and draw grid position)
VENUE : COMPASSPOINT MALL

Entry : Sgd 200.00
includes :
1) XB Porsche Cayenne CC-01
2) Clear Porsche Cayenne (compulsory to use )(can be collected from 02 Aug)
3) Sanyo 'AA' Alkaline Battery x 8pcs (for transmitter)

Last Day of Registration : 08 August 2008 Friday , 6pm

Body comes with the XB kit is strictly not allowed to be used.
Please collect clear body (for spraying) upon registration at Stargek.

Simple Rules&Regulations to follow:---

a) Any types/brands of batteries are allowed to be used
b) Tires change are not allowed
c) Traction compound can be used
d) Minimum 3 , Maximum 4 drivers per team
e) Rotation of driver every 30minutes is compulsory.
f) Please keep the pit area clean.Your cooperation is appreciated.
g) Any other rules not clarify by organisers will be announced to TeamLeaders on raceday.

Could we use deans as all our batts are on deans?

Are we allowed to change motors or just stick with the ori one?

Hi Jonest,

The rules state that you cannot change anything on the car. To keep the race fair by preventing any extra $$ spent on the car.

To answer your questions:

You CAN use deans battery packs, BUT will have to have a MALE DEANS-to-JST TAMIYA adapter, between your Deans battery pack and the Tamiya plug ESC, bacause you CANNOT MODIFY the original connector of the kit installed ESC.

You CANNOT use any other motor, or change to another 540. You must use the motor which is included with the kit.

That said, it helps if you lubricate the bushings and brushes of the motor, break it in as much before the race starts.
