*OFFICIAL* Marine Parade RCMC Singapore Thread
Good day to all Racers!
There has been alot of speculation and confusion in the previous threads on the race dates and people involved in the committee and etc. We would like to mention that we appreciate your anticipation and the effort made to get more racers involved in the upcoming races.
This new OFFICIAL RCMC thread would be will be used for race dates confirmation, registration, race reports and any news updates regarding to the PA track.
*LATEST UPDATE
1. Who's Who?
Below are the official individuals involved directly with Marine Parade PA RCMC track. For your information to end further speculation. Please check with these individuals if you have any enquiries regarding to RCMC.

2. TENTAGE - The permanent tentage for the Pit Area & Driver Stand should be ready by the 15th of May 2008. We would like to thank all the racers for supporting this project through your attendance of the 1st round of the national series. With this new tentage for both the pit area and driver stand, we hope that the PA Track will be more comfortable for all the players. We urge all players to try to keep the track clean and tidy for the benfits of all the players. It will also be easier for us to organize races with this permanent tentage as we do not really need to consider about covering costs and etc.
3. TRACK PAINTING - The track will re-painted before the Invitational Challenge in July. We hope to gather a few volunteers to assist us in painting the track once I can confirm the date on when we are going to do this. Thank you in advance....
4. POINT SYSTEM - For the National Series Race, points will be given accordingly to your finishing position of the race. These points accumulated and recorded and stored in the RCMC Singapore database. In the case of future internatonal sanctioned races (IFMAR, FEMCA, etc) with limited seats, TOP priority will be given to the racer with the highest points, for both 1/8 and 1/10 scale.
The points system will be as follows (applies to both 1/8 & 1/10):
Champion - 100 points
2nd Position - 98 points
3rd Position - 97 points
4th Position - 96 points
5th Positon - 95 points
...and so forth. Minusing 1 point for each lower position. RESULTS FROM ROUND 1 WILL BE POSTED AS SOON AS I HAVE ALL THE DETAILS.

There has been request for a 1/8 Onroad Race by some of the 1/8 racers. As mentioned in the previous threads, IF we have enough racers (16 or more), we do not mind organizing a proper race. Please register here (in this thread) to confirm your attendance. Tentative date set for this race is 4TH MAY 2008. Registration for this race will close on 30th of April, if we do not have enough racers registered before the closing date, we will not continue with the race.
