Seems to me that the TT-01E is built for rallying...

Anyway, I doubt it is available for retail as of yet...

it's really a pain how to thread those screws into plastic..

it strips easily and hex drivers are much better too......

otherwise i wouldnt be considering the cyclone S at all. the TT01 is really a good basher for everyday racing or when the weather is bad =)

The new TT01 E knuckles are much stronger compared to the old knuckles.
This is one plus point.

Hi all,
I a newbie into RC and thinking to take up this hobby but still headaching over which car to get.
Actually i aiming for the TT-01D as i want to take up drift driving but i was recommed the TT-01E. Feedback i received from is the TT-01E is more 'driveable' n easier to control.
The shop told me if i wanted drift, for now i need is just to change the ball bearings n i pretty much set as a beginner. For the rest of the hop-up like motor etc, i was advised to do it at a later stage until my skill is there.
But my frd who having the TT-01D said the D is more value-for-money due to the stock ball bearings, suspension n motor but its a old model which had proven itself....i very confused now...which one is better?

Thks!!

Well , I have a standard TT-01 but i'M also a drifter and I would recommend the TT-01-D if you really want to drift. The price difference is not much , with the D being more expensive then the E. The E is has a extra in tires as it has radials , which you would not need since ur drifting.Plus , the D really has the edge over the E cos of it's extra bearings and drift tires which would be very costly if you were to buy them seperately.

As for it's handling , I can't really have some personal recounts as I do nto have these cars but all I can say is that when ur drifting your losing traction already so controlling it will be naturally more tough but - thats the fun of drifting ! This is the contradictory statment drifters suceed in : Controlling the tires when it loses control(grip)

Hi guys, is the ball diff. can really outrun the gear diff?
or is it waste of money to upgrade my gear to ball?
