what do i have to do to show you that i am a newbie
anyway, you'll be disappointed again by how simple my answers will be. i knew about this site through friends (who want to remain anonymous-just like you).... and yes, i read a lot and lurked here a lot before i did my 1st post. now if you are going to take into consideration the time i lurked and read about RC BEFORE finally buying a TL01LA.... then i would say that i have been dabbling into RC for the past 2-3 months BEFORE i bought a TL01LA. nowadays, i think twice, thrice, four times before i buy anything. ....and just to fuel curiosity more, i will not buy ANY kind of hop-ups for my TL01, after 4 or 5 months, i will go and get the FRP Mission! i know what you're going to say 'average newbies don't think like that!'

And I think you don't have to be bothered by what others say. Just be what you wanna be, but don't be a nuisance to the R/C community.
