SG run on slightly different rules. We don't follow USA. Stargek will release rules once they are ready.
Tamiya website got lots of back dated cars. You can still order TA01 parts, no prob, just that the local scene has moved on to TT01/TA05/M03/F103GT etc... these are the popular Tamiya cars.

thanks for the race!
hiya folks!
thanks for a fab race! i've clear forgotten how to run on such a twisty track! seriously, i was expecting a track much larger and was prepared for that (i actually broke out the old dyna runs for this). it was fun regardless, challenging to be sure.
to all the folks in open, thanks for a fab race, i realise now how silly it was to run the lc70 shell... it just isn't meant for carpets, nor hard knocks... my ifrs will be dressed accordingly in the future. i was up ALL night painting that shell, sheesh, i shoulda just have used a bashing shell and went to bed early.
to the folks in mini, thanks too for being patient with me, i was desperately trying to get some grip from my tires (worked so well at BK's, i didn't think to prepare something for the carpet) and had to use whatever i brought (yellow ) teehee, won't happen again!
to the organisers, thanks a bunch! it was a well organised race and we certainly "got to know"!; ima certainly had fun, hadn't had a chance to race for so long, i'd jump through flaming hoops to race if i needed to.
the lack of power was a slight bummer, but it was an understandable caution; thankfully my mates had the presence of mind to lug the 12V there, certainly made me all misty with nostalgia... well, misty anyways.
till the next time!
have fun always!
cheerio!

That's right , to help everyone (especially new-to-TAC or 1st timers racers) better understand the racing format of Tamiya Asia Cup, we have organised a PRE-TAC Tune-Up race to prepare for the coming TAC qualifying season beginning in March 2008.
(Especially all drivers from 'GET-TO-KNOW' sessions we had in close season last year ,it is time to prepare your TT-01s)
During this race , you can ask from the past TAC representatives for various car set-ups for outdoor asphalt to indoor carpet.
Expect car inspections during the race and do make sure to check your car weight , ride height ,etc.....
For rules details ,please refer to individual class attachment
Also since it is still in the Chinese New Year mood , there will be no lucky draws but HongBao draws !!!
Register for your TAC race now!
