Recently went to Hong Kong and got myself a 1/14 Scale R/C Tractor Truck. (SCANIA R470) As I’m a newbie, can anyone share your building experience? And what other stuff to get before building this truck.I had build a couple of kits before
-HPI Savage ss
-TAMIYA TT-01
-KYOSHO V1S2
But this time round it is different I’m thinking that this truck will most likely end up in the display cabinet.

Not really a fan but I have a King Hauler Metallic Special with semi-trailer.
Too big to really bring anywhere so it's on display for now.
Very chrome, very beng

posted step-by-step build up of my truck in the epmt thread before.

but anyway, if you planing to start building, be sure to have the right tools. if you have a power screw driver that would help, cause lots of screws.
bearings are important, so get them before building.
you would need to get ready your radio gear 4ch when you build, so that you can align your steering/gear shifting when you fix it up.
presume if you want to get the MFC-01, you should get it - comes with engine sound/vibration/lights...etc

lastly, take your time to prime/sand/spray your body

I got mine for 1400 Hong Kong dollars at rc station in Guang Hua street. Ball bearing at 160 Hong Kong Dollars.
