basically you can use any of the touring stock, most of the mini racer uses the cva super mini shock (50746) with 1 to 2mm spacer in the cylinder below the piston.

anyone correct me if am wrong, it been a long time since i touch my mini..

infact it's a need to install spacer in the damper to reduce weight transfer, as a effect, it reduces the roll of mini for high speed corners.

Just use the largest ring from the high torque saver will do, no need for the cable tie.

For the shocks, what M&N meant was the internal spacers to reduce droop for the M03. CVA super mini shocks are preferred due to its shorter shock body which many of us felt gives better damping. And yes, we are stuck on using plastic spacers to adjust preload.

Hi guys! I would like to ask if it is allowed to use tape to hold the battery in M03 chassis rather than using the quick release batt holder? Because I am using the batt holder from my twin dagger... I don't have the original one for my M03
Thanks!

Shouldn't be against the rules to tape the battery pack down. Most of us have doing it to prevent the battery pack from flying out of the car in the event of a collision. Another cheaper, reusable method is to get those thick black rubber bands (aka the rubber band found on your SBO ).

hi egaabwaa, there isn't any restriction on the choice of connector used for the battery, as long as the battery is in stick form.
cheers

M&N, i think for local race can use any kind of plug for e stock class stick pack battery. But for e ASIA CUP, u have to use tamiya plug.

hi bro, you're right, the ASIA CUP have a bit more rules, but as for our local race, we want to keep it as simple as possible.
since we allow all type of battery as long as it's in stick form, we allow the different plug as well.

as for those beginners don't worry just join in and have fun.
there r lots of friendly driver willingly to assist during the race day

especially Bugs Bunny a friendly and helpful guy.
