Default truggy

I'm using GS SUT Storm, with REX P5 .21 engine Another HPI lighting Pro with REX P5 .21 size engine also any .21 size engine will do for the truggy. An over size engine will not give you higher speed, but will give you less run time. How about you? what truggy you are running? big is not better

Would a .21 have enough torque for a fully loaded truggy?
I suppose a .21 engine would generate more rpm than say a .28, but torque wise???
Any good engine to recommend?

Most .21 engines is enough for truggy.

If you want a fierce rpm and aggressive torque .21 engine, go for RBconcept Engines, you won't regret it.

RB C6 series
RB World Series 7

but if you are in tight budget and still require extreme performence without the RBconcept price tag. Id recommend SH Engines instead.
They are cheaper than RBs but still perform well enough for races against other RB equiped buggies/truggies.

SH PT2004-XB
Pair it with their SH SA208C1 Pipe + Manifold set.

also, SHengine's replacements are friendly to the wallet too. Replacing of conrods will be very friendly to your wallet with SH.

Now, it's just up to you and your wallet to decide.

Default hi

hi leng waiting for the Mugen truggy.... will be using my NIB RB C5 which was left on my shelf for 1 year plus already...........

Hi, think SH engine will be a good budget engine to start out, fast but in terms of durability ........ but then again if engine bearings, oil seal ... are readily available, why not?

Of course if you have the extra $$ go for the RB, Nova.....

Wondering how the C6BB with 2045 exhaust will do on the truggy!!!

Hi KK, how is ur "8" doing ...... going strong...

I put SH engine on my X1CRT. It perform well as u had described, but it tend to go with higher running temp. For the lower to mid torque, This engine is awesome for high speed matter, it has to be redefined. Depend on which track u r racing. Fuel consumption approx 11 to 12 min wit 138' C running temp. Now I am using JP FX21 B5T It has more speed. Fuel consumption a bit poor.

Default hi

hi still waiting for someone to shed some light on the availability of the Mugen Prospec truggy...............

Just curious, they have the torsen, LSD for the buggy, any for the truggy?

What about overdriving the truck for more aggressive turning as truggy is already slower than the buggy at turns.....

Guys, anyone to post their setting on their current truggy.....?
