Cant Wait, im running rally in Australia, our nationals are in October. Anyone have any tips on setting up a tb01, our restrictions limit us to plastic chassis, plastic shocks, Tamiya Stock (R or T) motors and kit type tires. Any opinions on springs oil, gearing etc

Default Tamiya America Track's "Unofficial" Website

For those who have not visited Tamiya America's track before and are going to the Nationals, check out this website: http://www.ttlocals.com

The site has lots of good info about TA's track as well as some cool photos and setup tips.

Original 414M ( the silver one) and the MII are now legal at TCS events. However, at this time if you have modified the front roll bar to the world-edition type sway bar, you can not run the car. Since Tamiya have not released the parts for doing that conversion in the USA yet. It won't be legal, until they released the part for the upper deck sway bar configuration.

Wilfred: I hope you are not mislead by TCS rules. Since we both stay in South East Asia I believe we belong to TAC (Tamiya Asia Cup) jurisdiction. So far, there were no changes to the rules given by organizers & 414m2 is still not allowed at the moment. TCS nats winners will be challenged by our TAC winners in Japan around December this year. Our race in Hong Kong will push through on Sept. 26 hope to see you guys at the race. Regards.

Is there a race coming up in September in Cali? At the TCS/REEDY track?

The Tamiya Championship Series national race at the Tamiya track is on Sept 26-27. It's not a REEDY track, just the REEDY race was held there this year.
