Default Pit Equipment mods

Anyone have any cool pit equipment that ya just had to take a dremel to? Here is my Quasar Pro. I started out just replacing a bad fan and I ended up with this. Best part about it is the power switch, and the display is alot easier to see since its not backlit that was a problem with it lying down.

WOW!!! Great job on the new housing. Looks like you put a lot of hours working on it. Looks very professional. Very cool.

haha..i myself have been wanting to mod my chargers too, but didnt really get around of doing it and want to keep the original look to the charger so it basically restrict what i wanna do.
i have a pitbull and a yokomo bcss charger. the pitbull is clear blue so i tried installing LEDs just to make my charger glow, but that idea was trashed, couldnt make the LEDs point the way i want them to and it looks too hack! on the yok charger, since it has no backlite, i was thinking of putting 2 or 3 leds right above the screen so its backlite, havent gotten around of doing it...but im sure i will.....

so far, the only mod i did to my 2 chargers was replacing a new ballbearing 3mm fan into my yok charger, and adding a fan to my toasty pitbull.

And from the rear:

Inside is a 10cm ccfl blue tube and inverter and a tri-colour LED fan in the rear (straight replacement for original).

That is cool. There are so many things you can do if you go checkout the computer moding sites youll get lost in all the cool stuff.

Yeah the posibilities are endless.

This only only took about an an hour of work and cost about $50 Aus (~$35USD).

It was actually quite easy to do and the fan was a plug in type to begin with so the new PC just plugs in anyway.

And the inverter is just soldered to the back of the cigarette lighter socket on the front panel of the PS.

So if you need to remove anything it's quite easy as well.
