Man Dave, I clicked on that Nitro car link and that thing is Sweet!
Shannon did you see that thing? What kind of motor are you going to put in it?
Have it ready for the first parking lot race so I can show you a thing or to.

I'm planning to get the Mega ZX 12 power pack from Lee. Are we trying to stay with ROAR legal engines?

i run a five port and i know that did not used to be roar legal. i don't know if it is now. but we've allways just ran whatever motor you wanted to. there has been modified motors run with us but i kinda think thats overkill. but mod motors are ok. if someone gets one the'll probably be dominant if they can drive. so you shouldn't get a mod motor. if you do i'll still whoop ya.

You know I can't drive nitro, so you'all don't have anything to worry about. I just got an email from Tower Hobbies with a $30.00 coupon plus OS is running a rebate on their .12 TZ, so I'm thinking af going with the OS. What do you think ?

Default yeah Boy

Dave we don't have any Motor restrictions, as long as it is up to a .15 it is ok.
Turbo heads are ok also. The rules on the site should still be ok.
Bill has a couple of OS motors and they have good mid range.
The TZ is a good choice!
You can't drive? yeah right

yes bill's os's are very impresive when tuned right. don't know if there that same motor. i like os engines. there easy to tune and if not all than most have the abc sleeve. novarossi is my favorite but there pricy. os is probably the best motor for the money in my book.

Dave A TZ is a great motor but the hardest motor OS has ever made as far as tuning. I got one in a GT and its Nasty but I had to send the first one back Ron and myself could not get it to run far nothing. I sent it back and don't know just what they done but it will finially run after alots of screwdriver turning. I'm kinda like Shannon the Rossi is the easiest to turn and run but they are proud of them.. That OS is a hoss if you get it right though I'm telling you that. Take Care SmoothsRacing!!!! Hope we have some good weather and a good crowd this weekend.

shape up the sleeve to help the nitro flow. the three ports benifit the most. but you can help out a five port. the more expensive motors allready have most of the work done you could do by hand.
