Default help with Delrin

what are the properties on delrin? some manufacturers made hop-up parts using alloy and delrin combinations so i'm kind of curious, what are the ups and downs of this material?

delrin is the tradename for dupont- the generic name is acetal

it has good heat properties, machines like brass, it is availible in sheet
2x4 in thickness 030to 3in- rod and tube 1/8 to 3in dia. it is also
availble in wht. or blk and there is delrin AF that has teflon for added
wear properties
