the efficiency of a 12th is so vastly superior than a fat heavy tourer where power is far more important.. try comparing it to oval and maybe you'll get a better idea of the importance of voltage...

exactly Marcos it just annoys me when people come up with these things without doing any testing

Are give you a tip if you put a link wire in the four cell pack you can spread the weight out better it also means that if you race 12th you can swap back and forth

i spoke with billy easton today and he said he has been doing alot of 4 cell testing.he told me that down the straight away in mod,he is 8 mph slower than a 6 cell mod car.on average laps,he is about 1/2 a second quicker than the mod car.i dont see much speed loss or performance loss here.his testing is also with another driver of his level.food for thought.

I run 4 cells in a Pro 4 and with the batteries on the left and all my electronics on the right the car is very even. I know the GTB is a good chunk heavier than my GT7 but if anything I'd try the reciever pack in front of the batteries before the ESC. The batteries still carry a lot of weight in them even with only 4 cells.
