The cargo hold is pressurized as well, just not quite as warm as the cabin.
But it's more to do with the fact that a fire in the cabin can be dealt with by the crew, a fire in the hold is even more serious.

I do, sometimes security will let them through in hand luggage (steerwheels) sometimes they won't, so I put mine in the hold anyway.

I carry it on. Never had a problem. They always want to inspect it by hand, but never been an issue, takes an extra minute or 2

Anything that you would be seriously SOL if it was lost or broke you should carry on.

HI Everyone,

It is that time to start looking forward to another great time in Vegas but this year we are going to Double Down with our IIC and IOCC Offroad race back to back. Up first is the IIC.

We have some changes planned this year for some of the classes. With the amazing speeds that 17.5 motors are going now, it is time that this class becomes the new Super Stock Class. Stock class needs to be slowed down to give new racers a class that is easier to learn in and the stock class will now be run with 21.5 Motors.

If we look back a few years, all major events had handout motors for the Stock classes. We have used this format for the Amateur class for many years and I feel now is the time to bring this to the Stock Class. So for this years IIC. The Stock Touring class will now include a Handout 21.5 Motor with your entry. This will save the racer so much time, money and headaches not having to find the latest greatest motor that comes out before the IIC. Everyone will be using the same motor just like the Stock classes used to be.

I am not ready to announce the Handout motors yet, but I will give everyone ample notice on what they will be.

Entries go live tonight at 8pm ET, 7pm CT, 5pm PT at Home :: International Indoor Championships

TQ of entry is always a close battle so lets see who will get it. It normally comes down to the second.

IIC is going to be great this year as we will have Walt Henderson doing our layout and we will again have the corner curbs that worked out so well last year.

As always if anyone has any questions, please let me know via email at [email protected] and I will be happy to help.

October will be here in no time and I look forward to seeing all of our friends there.

Thanks
Scotty

I doubt it. I double clicked by accident and it said I was already signed up and had to reload and then go pay the 2nd time. So I was late!!

So if Stock Touring is running 21.5 handout motor, what will Amateur class run? If Amateur is 21.5, will it be the same handout motor as the Stock Touring?

Yes, in fact i would ask too how could be Amateur?
Then i want to know if super stock would be boost or blinky since 17.5 would be introduced.

Scotty, count me in. I will run stock and usgt, as usual. Will we still be using the handout 17.5 motors with thr fixed timing in gt? Or will they also be 21.5 motors? What about using 25.5 motors for USGT?

Previous years I petitioned Scotty to have Stock 17.5 and Amateur 21.5 so they would different. Remember though, it comes down to what wind motor the class sponsor wants to provide. Personally, I think slowing stock down would encourage more people to try on road.

Totally agree. 17.5 motors are way too fast for the stock class now.
