Default Where does the lipo regulator go

I picked up a 2s for my rec, regular servos not HV and no on/off switch. Can I run a servo extension from the rec power, then to out on regulator and battery to the in on regulator? Thanks, first time with a regulator so just making sure

so how do you turn off the power if you don't have a switch, generally it goes from battery to switch then to regulator then to receiver, so if you don't have a switch you need to make sure the battery is unplugged from regulator or it will kill the battery pack

I had issues with switches before and just ran an extension from rec so I can unplug outside of the box. I'll just wore it like I said, with the extension to the rec first then hook up the regulator and unplug before the battery I guess, thanks
