Which one is better (RDX or T2) for Rubber Tire Asphalt/Carpet. I have always raced foam (xray) - any opinions?????

Questions like that will always get biased answers.

From a guy that has raced none of them, I'd say they're about equal. I've seen them both race and they're equal on lap times.

Go with the one thats easiest to find parts for.

Tamiya 415MSX...never ran one and its not one of your choices but it sure had a good showing in rubber class at the Novak race in the A main

I love the RDX on rubber......It has the most steering of any TC I have driven.
Although I have not driven a T2....
I still think you are going to find that the majority of people will give you baised opionions.....

Wait until the DHI cup is over, then you can see the results. That is carpet/rubber.

I really love my T2 on carpet (also rubber) its so extreemly fast and also easy to drive.

the corally rdx it's hard to beat on carpet but the xray 05 or t2 is better for asphalt

Big races tell you a little, but to be honest most of the guys in the A main, would be in the A main, regardless of what they were driving.

Look at what most people run at the tracks you will race most.

See what manufacturer spares your Hobby Shop carries.

Look what the fastest ( and most helpfull) person at your track runs.

Any of the cars listed are great. RDX/T2/Tamiya and you will not go wrong with any.

Thanks for the info - parts are no problem since we deal direct with rcamerica and corally (for our track/hobby store). I know the T2 is easier to work on but setups are scarce for rubber tire and wasn't sure if they were proven yet.

Then I would say go with the car that has people at your track running it so they can help if you get stuck.......
Ask far as support for cars on line...Corally has the best support on line or off, the drivers at the track all help and aren't unaproachable......

i want to add in here. no i know its not an option but i wanted to say dont over look the cyclone. as a foam car i think it might struggle but on rubber tires HPI/HB are some of the best cars out there. they take alot of wins when its rubber tires. but since most basically all of their drivers are out of the nation you never see those cars on foams and those cars were designed for rubber tire carpet racing over foams. in asian alot fo track are rubber tire on carpet. both the pro4 and cyclone have already proven themself to be amazing cars on rubber tires.
