but if the motor rules are about to change to this motor...its not a bad ideal...I like the ideal..but I don't wanna buy a motor that I'm not going to run any more

Your link is for a different motor...the motor we chose is 51$ on their site and it will be available for 40$ at this race.

If there wasnt this rule and brand X and brand Y and brad Z all just dropped their new hot motors a few weeks before this event and they were selling it for 150$ each that you "need" to be competitive how good does that 40$ look now??? We feel the idea of a hand out motor needs to start some where and with the cost of this motor and the state of 21.5 motors we wanted to know how this worked out.

Tires...most people will have to buy tires anyway. Most races do the same thing make you buy the tires at the event so they can control the spec side of this. I dont see the issue with this.

sorry for the wrong link on the motor....I just hate to see ppl buy a motor they might not use again....but I like the ideal...hope it work for you

Why does it matter?? We all get the same motor. Just Show Up and Throw Down.

i really like the idea of handout motors , you guys could always lock in a fdr but i know that would require locking timing as well and teching fdr ... but
wish we could make it

Just wondering. It didnt state or I didnt see it on that link which one it had as it comes packaged. I was looking at what replacement parts the motor has available if there is a problem/failure.

not to labor around a point...but will these motors be inspected prior to being sold...will they all have the same KV,RPM,IR, ect...or is it the luck of the draw...you might get a good one, you might not.....

I only ask this because if they are not, then there isnt a reason to have a handout motor...other than to use the same brand.
