Hi Rick,
I have a question to the minimum weight.
Is 1380gr correct? I'm asking because ROAR adjusted the minimum weight to 1350 and the most races are using this weight.

It is a mistake. Minimum is 1350.

I would like to check what possibility there is for practice before the event proper starts on 25 May. Am planning my travel arrangements.

There is no official race practice before the 25th. But there is the CTS event mentioned below at the end of April plus the track is open to Tamiya cars every or nearly every Saturday. You will have to contact Tamiya to see if the track is open on Saturday the 20th or if it is closed for Reedy Race preparations.

Cal Raceway http://calraceway.com/ is an alternative local racing facility that is usually open 1-2 nights during the Reedy Race week. It might be a nice place to shake down cars.

This is an option but be aware that the CTS has a spec tire that may or may not be the same spec tire used at the Reedy Race.
