Right, manners are for the birds.

I remember when there were actually good turnouts at big events... we ran "stock" and "mod" (maybe a 19t class). Now there is VTA, USGT, amateur, stock, super stock and mod. Do we really need 6 touring car based classes?

I think it's fine to make 21.5 the new stock. If people complain enough that it's too slow maybe they will step up and start running mod. Actually I think they should make 25.5 the new stock!

That's a common debate, coming back years after years... Did a US club never consider doing the opposite? I mean putting everybody in the same class? Here we have only 13.5 boosted, and people are reasonable enough to run at the speed they can pilot. We have example of rookies starting blinky with 5° of turbo and finishing in B main juste because some pilots just overestimates their skills...

My thoughts exactly.

21.5 for stock is kinda lame. 17.5 is slow enough, the slower the motor the more expensive it is to make power.

I think that is the point. Slow it down enough that the faster guys won't want to run it and move into something that is faster (super stock & or mod).

Wishful thinking.. must be the reason all the fast guys are in mod now and there is no talent whatsoever in these 17.5 classes lol

Could always consider making the cars, tires, and drivers better to handle the speed. Just a thought

I'm neither American nor do I currently race spec classes (though we may have it introduced soon if it gets voted in). I'm not sure how it could be meant for me.

I don't care what y'all do with your funster classes, but please don't F with mod sedan. Open motor and crappy batteries are truly the pinnacle of RC racing if you can hang on to the speed. The class is self-regulating due to grip.

Could always make big races a sealed endbell, fixed timing, handout motor.. stock wouldn't be as out of control if the big name, sponsors, manufacturers, and money weren't so heavily involved

I would like to hear how others feel about this. USGT is 21.5 and USVTA is 25.5 already so why make two new TC classes that could potentially destroy these classes. Or do you all feel that's not the case?
this is a good question

What are you suggesting? Performance enhancing drugs for drivers?
