Default Foreigners Attending Yatabe AOC

Just a little heads up for those going to Yatabe AOC.

If you don't have these motors then you're off the pace.

1/12th 21.5 blinky, 17.5 Blinky, and 13.5 Boosted Class
Hobbywing Bandit
Muchmore Sting
Trion MM Endeavor

Eventhough there are KV restrictions for each class, sadly this doesn't help. It's the internal resistance of the above motors that completely and I mean completely separates them from other motors. This goes for boosted as well.

Not complaining, just giving those who are going a heads up.

Not going, just interested

They are. A few at my local club run the Bandit and it's stupidly quick for a '13.5'. Not far off the pace of a 8.5 mod on a smallish track.

Pretty much.

We learnt the hard way the first year we went. Went prepared the next time.

Are they also running them with 14mm rotors and gearing to 2.0 FDR?

12.5 rotors and who knows what gearing. It's a complete joke.

13.5T Boosted in Hong Kong is pretty much the same. Running about 5.9FDR and boost all the way, turbo the last 10 or so degrees on timing for the straight line speed. Almost as quick as mod.

KV limitation on 3300KV but no other limitation. Pros and cons to it.
