Whats a good discharger to use?
I have a APS charger and most of you know it doesnt have a discharge feature. What can I use for discharging batteries? Will a Novak Smart Tray help?
If I have the MuchMore ZeroV trays, can I just use that?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You will want 2 items. A high rate discharger with a cutoff and then a low current equalizing tray for equalizing. I think a good combo is an Integy Indi Reactor 30 then when it's done, put the pack on the novak smart tray to equalize.

try spintec or trinity dyna pulse dischargers!

Ask 10 people and get 10 different answers. However a high rate with 5.4v cutoff and an equalizing final discharger are the best bet.
Integy Reactor 30 and Novak Smart Tray are a good combo. Maybe not the "best" in that final 1% evaluation, however still a good way to dump and equalize batteries.

Im thinking a Deans Bulb discharger and the MuchMore ZeroV. I already have the ZeroV trays so id rather use that.

my dad told my some confusing things, he said u tray batteries to prevent cell reversal..?? is this true? like does negative and positive really switch within the cell??

Following the race I take the pack down to 5.4v with a Integy Reactor 30. Then let them cool down and equalize on a Rayspeed tray to .9v per cell. Store until next race weekend, then right before charging tray them with a MuchMore ZeroV. I'm getting awesome runtime and voltage with this process.

I use the Trinity and the DS feature on the Novac Smart Tray.

Novak Smart Tray is I think the most popular. That's what most people are using here.

So I can use a Trinity DynaPulse then put the cell on a MuchMore ZeroV tray?
