Holy smokes, hope you get her fixed up soon! What was the total list of damage?

Great builds everyone!

I'm hooked.
There are quite a few threads and posts in this thread about motor selection and these two specifically but it depends on if you plan to run 4s or 6s batteries. There has definitely been a trend to run lower kV motors such as 1350 or 1700 since they seem to produce less heat amount other benefits. Either of those motors will be awesome with 4S but if you're trying to push the power of your rig or live in a hot area you may find additional benefits of a lower kV.
T8 ESC has the smallest footprint so its much easier to fit on the MT410 chassis but the motor and ESC aren't waterproof where as the CC system is waterproof (i think even their sensored motors are waterproof?) This was a huge deciding factor for me as enjoy ripping through rain, puddles, snow, etc. If you're going with 2 motors you could even something specifically for 4S and then another for 6S, or a waterproof system, etc, just depends on what your overall intent is!

Thanks, I almost have it back together.

The damage:
TKRC5161 V2 Adj Hinge Pin Brace "A" Block Alum EB/NB (shattered)
TKRC5436 Suspension Arm Front ET48/NT48 (2) (twisted badly also gouged by dislodged driveshaft)
TKRC9114 Diff Outdrive F/R Lightened EB/NB48 ET/NT48 (chipped)
TKRC1333 Flat Head Screw M3x40mm Black EB48 (10) (bent)
TKR5012 Gearbox Front EB48, SCT410 (torn when TKRC1333 ripped out)
I rebuilt the front diff too for good measure.

I also replaced the B block hinge pin inserts with the 1deg offset inserts, for two reasons. Mainly because the impact damaged the left side insert, almost pushing the hinge pin through it, but also to lower the kick up angle hoping to reduce nose dive under braking and increase steering response.

Added a few new touches to my truck. T-Bone front bumper and mudguards . Also a XPERT 7701 Waterproof servo. Don’t know much about this servo but I’m giving it a shot....it has higher torque compared to most waterproof servos I was looking at.
I now have all waterproof electronics on this truck(servo, esc and receiver). This will be my winter, snow and wet weather basher.

Nice fully waterproof setup! You have a waterproof receiver or did you do something special to waterproof it? I have a futaba, ended up putting it in a balloon and then tried to silicon that reciever box shut! Has worked so far with rain and snow bashing but i doubt its submersion proof!

Hey Chainsaw, i saw you youtube video of the MT410 with the TP Power motor and how you had to relocate the esc. I have been searching this forum for pictures with no luck. Mind posting some up please, and thank you.

Hey. Here’s two pics. I have a center tower to tower brace, then a piece of angle aluminum attached as a shelf for the esc. Sorry it’s probably hard to see exactly how it’s attached.

Chainsaw...

Yeah i see how you have it attached. To much modding for my first kit build. What motor and esc would you recommend for my MT410. I am just about finished building it. I am thinking the Tekin rx8 gen3 esc with the 4038 t8 1550kv motor and going to run 6s.

Do you have a setup you know would work with 4s and one that will do 6s. Or even bettery which one will do both if possible. Dont wanna run into over heating, thats the main reason im doing some extra research and learning.

Like i said i come from RTR vehicles and the electronics are usually chose for you. Ive only been into rc for about a year. So still kinda a newb.

Any and all help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Oh and you standing backflip videos are epic!!!

Yeah i can see it from the pics, to much moding for me as my first kit.

Do you have any suggestions are a motor and esc combo for my MT410 thats almost built. I would like to have the option to run 4s and 6s without overheating issues but from the research ive done that doesnt seem possible with just one motor.

Would love to hear some of your thoughts as to what will work for me. I was thinking the Tekin rx8 gen3 esc with the 4038 t8 1550kv motor. I know that will work on 6s but might be a little slow on 4s.

Any and all help is appreciated. Would love to hear some suggestions as relocating the esc is not an option for me yet. Maybe down the road.

And i love your standing backflip videos on youtube. EPIC!!!

THanks

Public service announcement - an 18T pinion is too large when running 6s on a 2200kv motor I did manage to get about 15 minutes of run time before hitting the motor overtemp cutoff at 185F, but it was only 40F outside. Smaller pinions are inbound.
