Default Ares P-51D Mustang?

Anyone have first hand information/experience with an Ares P-51D Mustang? Looking to get something to tinker with, I've had a couple of trainer planes years back...

Here's a link to the specific plane: http://ares-rc.com/P51Dmustang350/

I don't have Ares brand but i do believe its similar to FMS brand plane based on size and parts design. This plane is small so if you flown a trainer before this plane will be extremely twitchy to fly plus its a low wing. I own several P-51D Mustang and if you still want it try go get a bigger mustang, the bigger they are the easier to fly. If you're on the budget get a 1100mm wingspan but if money not at issue a 1400mm wingspan size is very docile to fly.

Here are some of my video so you can compare the size between them and how it flies:

If you're just getting started, consider something from Horizon Hobby. With AS3X in most of the planes they carry, you'll have better luck with your learning curve. The Mustang isn't a good first plane, especially if it doesn't have a gyro.

My first plane was a UMX P-51 with AS3X. It lasted about 3 days before I destroyed it. After that, I got a trainer. Fast forward to 4 years later, I have over 30 planes. I have a few EDF jets and can fly 3D aerobatics. I still go back to a glider for some relaxing flight after flying a jet.

If you have never flown a plane but can run a rc car, you should get a trainer plane.

I've had a couple of trainer planes... All they can do is fly in circles. I want something with more capability.

I have to disagree. Depending on the plane, a trainer is capable of aerobatics and more. If you don't want a high wing plane, consider the E-flite Pulse 15e? Or a E-flite T-28 Trojan.
