That track is super nice!

I agree with Barillms. Problem with lipo in rear will be the springs. I still feel the 2.0 tuning springs are the way to go. They hold the truck up like they should. They don't rub the shock body and its easy to find the parts needed. You can mod the 2.0 spring collars or get some adapters like I use. Pics here.

I have the 22 springs if you want them for FREE. 3 pack of fronts and the red and silver for rear. All like new, less than 3 test runs on them. Pay me for cost of bubble package, 1st class mail, paypal fees and they are yours. PM if interested. If Turbo doesn't want them they are up for grabs.

What colour spring did you guys use in the rear of the 2.0 when running the battery in rear position?

Cheers Aaron

I preferred blue fronts with silver rears, ran on a rutted dusty 1/8th track.

Is there a email I can send for TLR product support?

After building the kit, it is missing:

+4mm spring cups

7/8" 5/40 threaded steering rod

Check your manual. Contact Horizon Hobbies. They will make it good.

You will be wanting some truck springs soon and after you get some the spring cups wont matter much.

What tires seem to work there? That'll give me a better idea for the setup.

I am going to pick up a SCTE 3.0 soon. I am a huge fan of the 2.0 and I have quite a few upgrades on it, and I wondering if anyone knows if any of them will work on the 3.0. I expect I know the answer for most of them though. But I am curious none the less.

King Headz motor mount
King Headz center diff mount
MIP Puck Drives
MIP Chasis Brace
MIP Diff Kits
MIP Nylon Spur Gear

Like I said, I think I know the answer for most of these, I'd love to be able to keep my King Headz mounts though if possible (I'll be mounting the motor straight instead of angled).

These fit, but the bearing for the drive cups will not touch the smaller cups on the 3.0 and that makes them dead weight. The motor mount 3rd screw boss may need to be cut off so it doesn't hit the rear 3.0 brace.
-No purpose King Headz motor mount
-No purpose King Headz center diff mount

Fits, but rear is tight with little space front to rear. Could bind up on landing.
No real advantage over the new 3.0 dogbone design. MIP Puck Drives

You just need the 3.0 braces because they also locate the lipo battery.
-Not best choice MIP Chasis Brace

YES MIP Diff Kits
YES MIP Nylon Spur Gear

MIP center braces fit and work if you want to use them. Agree the 3.0 have pads to center the battery however I use the 2.0 thumb screws to secure the battery and no issues with battery getting close to spur. Tuning aid if you choose to try them.
