Has anybody ever killed a steel diff it was my rear diff i stuck it down it drifted fine for about 30 seconds then i couldnt kick the rear out i was like so i looked at the car and the rear diff wouldnt tighten up so i replaced it with my spare diff and it was fine all night i aint checked out the steel diff anybody else had that? Its not loose it just wont tighten

I had that problem with my front steel diff. I had to do a complete rebuild. Just buy the AE TC3 diff rebuild kit and you're good to go.

Anthony, you and your crew should go to one of those GD events and see how well you do. It sounds like you guys can drift. You definitely need some new equiptment. Used batteries are cheap here sometimes. I bought 4 batts with 3 monster motors for $50 shipped one time. The 4 packs still charged up over 3000mah. Still good enough for drifting.

i must admit though he is good in entries, but i still beated him

right after i won it was my bros turn to play the game

he was up againt the tl-01...he also beat him (which mean i gotta go againt my bro)

he was over taken in the inside on the first hairpin but the tl-01 hit the inside wall..after the 5 turn my bro past him up from the outside (just like me ) and he swooped into the tl-01's LINE with a higher angle!!!

i was pretty shocked that my bro can do that!

well it was against me and my bro now

i was nervous like crazy... and to even think...MY BROTHER!!!

it was hard

i was leading first and ran a good lap so far but on the last turn i got smashed by my brother causing my right spindle to snap!!!

i was FUROUS

i was so scared i lost..but it was my turn to chase...

i had no parts so i had to use super glue...i was aloowed to have a quick practice run right before the last heat

my tc3 was having trouble on smooth left turn drifts and would slightly slip outward...all i have left is a luck and skill

i was chasing and i got him on the 3rd corner but the consecutive left turn
i was past again in the inside as soon as i sliped outward

there was only 2 more turns and this striaght that i was on right before the 5th turn (right haipin) i went for it on the outside line in the entry because i knew it was a long one that i can handle with all my power so i turned left...i understeered with the stress on my right spindle!!! i let off the power and my bother (again) hit me while he was doing the inertia drift and taped my left rearend causing me to be able to drift on the left turn (i dont think the crowd knew about me understeering) i pressed in the throttle using all the momentom i have from that tap from my bro, i did the DRIFT!!!

my bro from the tap caused him to lose his line and hit the inside wall and spin out

i WON THE DRIFT SHOW OFF!!! !!! !!! !!!

i was clearified as WINNER and my bro as second and the 3rd was my bud

the only negitive side of this is that i broke my right spindle and wasted about 30 cells of nicad 2400s!!! i have no more cells accept my last 2400 nicad pack ...if only i had nimahs

notice my cracked front right fender

all my cells ...GONE

its seems like you gave up the hobby for lent or something? your catholic right? i just gave up on meat and chocolates

LOL

well yea you say it like i didnt know how to drift

not trying to be cocky but i have my reasons not to go to one

i would like to go to one but the thing is my crew and me (royal deja vu knights) wants to stay underground and only get known by a few people by those who drift

like i dont want to go pro and have the easy way of drifting(with all the help and being a role model) i want to be a legend that grew by skill and hardships with out any help of sponsers and indorsments by having popularity of how i would of won the compitions
i would drift some people from the compition but i dont want to enter the big compition

y'know what im saying

kinda like ryosuke in intial d (the guy with the FC that can be pro but wants to stay with street racing)

btw does anybody else have a myspace... heres mine http://www.myspace.com/d1drift

well, im back

and in the past weeek i have done alot, but notthing to do with r/c cars, im still waiting on my chasis

URG! stupid hobbytown,
but i run a 27T stock with 24 deg. timing, i want one of these...
http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...cxl5000&cat=20

its like a 3-4 turn, so its wayyyyyyy faster than the new Novak
but it needs this controler
http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...od=9920warrior

and those motor set-ups were origanly made for e.maxx'a that go 60 mph, like my step-dads, imagein paz, the mass chaos we have done to his truck,
(like rip the whole left front side off, and he bent a heavy duty CVD, and he was at only 3/4 throtle )

lol... I know you know how to drift and the principles behind rc car tuning. I learned it from you!

I hear what you're sayin'. Some people just wanna be happy with doing what they like and keepin' it underground instead of going corporate and selling your soul to the devil. Sorta like the Arai guys like to just get together on weekends and have fun with drifting versus let's say GD wants to blow up drifting and make some money and a name for themselves along the way. There's nothing wrong with either approach. It would just be nice to see someone not "known" in the scene, show up to a one of the big events and just clean house.

Yeah, I've been gone for awhile. Had to give up the hobby for lent. But I'm back in full swing. I'm currently working on two shells, with a third on the way. I'll be doing tutorials and releasing masks soon. When I'm done with my projects, my cars are going on the shelf. I don't think I'll have much time to drift when I get back from vacation. I'm starting a new job soon.
