Just ordered a sprint 2 drift, and want to upgrade to brushless. What is a good motor for high torque drifting?

If your just starting out I would say a 13.5. If you've been drifting for awhile 10.5 or 8.5.

Very nice. Do Cup Racers drift well?

i've had an overkill 2.5t motor installed when i had one running. never liked it due to the motor i had installed and never got to run it again. but in the hands of a capable driver, i've seen it do things that i could never imagine ... it won several drift events!

Have you found any other options for drift tires to fit the Cup racer?. I like T drifts, But my motor isnt strong enough for t drifts in my cup racer. My Regular 1/10 scale cars are fine with T drifts.

I've got yeah racing drift wheels on this with a 10.5. I didn't end up locking the diff but I have got it ridiculously tight. I used AW grease instead of normal diff grease and tightened the crap out of it. Its pretty near locked.

With a 10.5 it had plenty of power, but the surface I was on was to grippy. The tyres are like a very hard solid rubber, not plastic like I'm used to on 1/10. It made for some very high speed drifts lol. It was hard to get it to balance the drift, it would either want to straighten or spin.

The T-drifts hpi do for it are meant to go onto normal cup racer wheels, but I'm not running normal cup racer wheels so I dont know if it will work.
