If you are geared correctly, there will be no problems with overheating or burned brushes. But you are using it for 15 minutes, so you will get about three heats worth of wear.

Default I ordered two Lipos so I hope they are good. Question...

I want to get the most out of them, how do you balance the cells? Do I need a charger that will balance them? If so, highend charger do you recommend?

Pretty sure there's another connector on it to allow independant charging/balancing of the cells, so no high end balancing charger should be needed.

From what I understood you can use any charger charging one cell and charge first cell one using the positive wire of your charger and plug the negative in the 2mm tube on the back and then you charge the second cell by pluging the negative wire of the charger to the negative pole of the battery and the positive on the little 2mm tube on the back.

It will fully charge individually both cells and re-balance them.

That would be very simple, and possible, that would mean that de small hole on the rear just connects to the 'bar' that connects + from one to - from the other cell...

I'm wondering why doesn't orion mention this feature??

Default Anyone that's wondering the Orion Lipo will not fit in a Xray T2.

That sucks, since I just bought two of them. I hope Xray and other companies will start making a chassis that will work with them. I had to mod my XXX-S so I guess I can use them for street bashing.

In case you are curions this IS the process for balancing LiPo. You fully charge each cell individually...this balances the pack.

Interesting...

Seems like a really simple process.

Any idea as to how often this would be neccesary. I know that Orion doesn't feel its all that neccesary.

Just check the voltage of each cell. If they are diffrent ....balance them. If not there is no need. If you run them a lot you would need to balance a few times a year.
