Engine modifiers.....who's out there?
So who's out there publicly modifying customer's engines? Richey used to do them. Had a 1st Gen RTO for my old Yok. And there's Smeltz. Who else mods engines? How's their pricing? Quality? Do they actually make more power? Please provide any feedback/opinions.

People like Rody and Collari have been modding for a long time. Rody works for RB, so thats the only one of his engines u can get. ...collari...I don't remember if you can get his engines

thanks, before, he just used to modify engines... kind of like ron paris and ritchey

These are the "hand modified" engines that I know of ...

M-Speed
There are also the ones I call "factory" modified as in the mods are mass produced (well sort of)
Salven

JP
Paris (?! not sure if they have a modded .12)
STS
It's a shame Dennis Richey doesn't do public mod work anymore. Actually, it's quite scary cuz he knows what's out there but no one knows what he's got in his pocket.

they have mod mt12s.......I don't know who really machines them but Mr. Van Horn over at rcrage sells it.

We can't forget about Carlsen Modifieds! I don't know if you guys in the states can get hold of them, but believe me they're ballistic. He modifies only novarossi-based engines, in several different states of tune. Ive got a Richey MT-12 RTO, and the Carlsen isn't far off it...

there is a guy out of northern VA pineapple moter sports for $60. he does carb crank pulls bearings and does block work port times the sleve and on some moters does the back plate cell # 571 277 1114
