I get parts faster from Rc market, than I do from serpent America they only offer ups ground shipping at outrageous prices and it takes 12 days to receive unless you want to pay an even higher price for 2 day shipping. Last order from them was arms, knuckles, springs, etc all that would have fit in a small 5.80 USPS 2 day priority mail box, but instead had to pay 15.80 for shipping. Hopefully amain will start getting parts in so can order from them. Until they do I'll get all my parts from overseas for faster and cheaper.

Anyone experienced any oil leakage from the heave dampers? I am guessing the orings do not totally seal as I tend to loose oil after a few runs. I have other brands of orings ready to be tested, but I would like to know if anyone else went through the same issue.

If you seal the damper o-rings with Green slime you should be fine. You can also try Serpent green X-rings.

Heave dampers I use the associated x-rings and pack with green slime. Not had any issues since. You shouldn't get the normal "air-leaks" as you would do with standard shocks as there's no "negative pressure" on the system due to the shock shaft extending upwards through the top too.

Having previously run from '11 to '15 all versions of the Erxy platform I had a 12 month absence from Serpent after being disillusioned with the erxy 4.0. But I'm Getting a 4X from Santa Thanks to Jay at Walter RC for sorting out the big man!
I want to organise some spares before hand. What's the general consensus on spares for this car? Are you guys getting spare roll and heave dampers for quick set up changes? I run asphalt only so wondering what Spring options will be required? I have xceed oils so Is it best to Have 1000/1200/1500/2k oils for the dampers? I plan on getting a couple of diffs and the usual hubs and arms but is there anything else to consider? Any specific clips or screws or shims that you consider a must have?
Regards Benzaah.

Hubs, arms, springs, pivot balls, also guys are swapping out
The front dcv holders with yokomo as the stock ones are snapping. Apparently Serpent is working on an update. I haven't broke any yet but only running a 21.5.
I did order some yokomo dcv couplers from rcmart. They are cheapest there.

Nope the actual round metal sleeves or couplers that join the cvds together.

That's interesting as I never had a problem with these on the 411 4.0 and I believe they are the same on the 4x. I'm running modified on both my 411 and 4x and never broken any. I'm wandering if it's a batch issue?
